Youth Division (Hong Kong) - Director-Student Jam
All submitted AI films must be between 1 to 3 minutes in length and prominently feature generative AI in their creation. A short "making-of" statement will be required to explain the AI tools (e.g. images and video generation, sound/music, script). and processes used.
Concept & Vision
To elevate the Re:VISS AI Film FEST and create a truly landmark cultural moment, we propose a special showcase event: "Director-Student Jam"

The vision is to bridge the gap between seasoned cinematic mastery and the raw, innovative energy of the next generation, demonstrating that AI is not a replacement for creative vision but a powerful new instrument in the hands of artists.
Objectives
· Create a "Passing the Torch" Moment: Symbolically link Hong Kong's rich cinematic legacy with its future in creative technology.
· Provide Unprecedented Mentorship: Offer a small group of students a career-defining opportunity to learn directly from a master of the craft.
· Validate AI in High-Level Artistry: Showcase how an established director can incorporate AI into their creative process, lending immense credibility to the medium.
-
Eligibility: Full-time students currently enrolled in any tertiary institution (sub-degree, undergraduate, or postgraduate) and the youth under 30 years old in Hong Kong.
